HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

In talking with quite a few of my friends who all mod halo when they get the chance I found that they wanted to create maps using HEK but didn't have 3dsmax so they used Gmax. However none of them had or could find an maxscript exporter even when told where to look. I am posting this exporter which was posted in gearbox forums by Baka and tarehart. I think that dark knight is who made it but here it is. The Program is called Chimp 1.5 and is an Maxscript Map Exporter for 3DSMAX and Gmax to use with HEK. Have fun and make some maps those of you who have Gmax but not 3dsmax. It comes with a readme.txt file. I would like moderators to move this to Utilities.

mmmmmmmmmmm sugarrrr! Anyways, goo job on posting the Chimp 1.5, people have only said stuff about 1.4. As well, how do u use 1.5?? i downloaded it and read the readme, but it does not want to work (i can use 1.4 just fine, but im still need to work on errors for my map).

Check out Gearbox forums for answers as they have the most usage with it since they use it most. Have a look on search and you should be able to find something to tell you how to use it. I like sugar tooooooooo..........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Where the crap is the 'Listener Window' Option? If it is the "Open Listener" Option, the where is the 'Export Halo Map' Option?

TY that 3ds max bug thats goin round is stopin everyone who has a pirate version of 3ds max so i need 2 use this

o thank god we can make our own maps now without having to buy 3ds max i think gren should know about this and post it on the main page
