Detox is a very respected guy and knows it. Most the people that posted retarded and sarcastic comments are good friends of him.
Funny you say the coord finder and this make a good combination. I originally got the HUD coordinate because we where going to make a
HUD studio with rth and bitmaps loading and coordinates loading, but Detox is one of the busyest people I know and I respect him enough not to entruid (Spell check, Tural needed)with big things.

I mean, cmon this is a begginner app that is classified on the 1000 others apps that edit a few values of a meta that ucould edit with a meta editor, i know u can do better DeToX =)
Well, it is a great application to help out beginners and it actually shows an example of what it will look like in the game. I like it. :D
Exactly! it teaches you absolulty nothing, you wouldn't know that this is actually done in the shader meta and that you could do it on the meta editor and that this is only 1/100 things that you can do on that reflexive of the shader, because yes you can do much more effects other then colors, so this pretty much limits the research for beginner that could take their meta editor and test values and see what happens.

I mean yeah it's great if you are too lazzy to use your brain a bit and there's better apps and much more useful than this unusual app that we'd use just 1 time for 1 mod.

Neodos... It wasn't a finished app... and its an easy app yes... but the point was that people can get a PREVIEW as to what they are editting. Its not about lazyness...Would you rather change a bunch of numbers and see the outcome, or visually see what your outcome will be like, and make the best of things?

i see no reason to argue over whether or not this app is any good. yes, neodos is right. more can be done in the shader, but this app simplifies the color part. you can call it being lazy, fine. that is your opinion. i find this app sort of useful so i don't have to waste time converting color codes into halo 2 color values. we can't all be geniuses like you neodos ...

thats my 2 cents of posting. kthxbai.

Who's arguing? We're discussing the real purpose of it...

It's not about really just changing the colors, but displaying a preview to do so...

I was going to do placement aswell and everything custom with snap-to, and all the features, kind of like Visual Studio's designer...

I guess I'll do something like that later with dark.

Its a simple app, like many others out there, designed to do one thing.
But make it easier an faster. Sooner would have been nice, yet now is good timing as well, the preview is a nice touch. :D Too bad this app and the other hud app cant be married and have little slightly better apps able to do more then one thing. But all in all, good job, I like all new toys, not just the shiny ones. And to all the ppl who dont want to use it, dont use it.

This topic has told all us noobs that more can be done then just edit color,
it has given us an easy to use with nice preview app, and maybe even an updated better version to come. Good job guys! :D

The app is great but i think that idk if it was it's user... the gradients ingame look inverted that's why he may say that.

Turk's research was withheld in anticipation of this program, IIRC. I wound up plowing through the shader, checking color values, saving, FTPing, ad infinitum to get my shellac-and-neon HUD.

Not to be an ingrate, but the app would've been used much more if it had been released sooner, and it probably got as done as it would ever get months ago. Are there other programs in the grab bag that fit this description?? Long trail of dots..............................
Retired. Thank you neodos, DemonicSandwich, DarkShallFall, Dragonfire, foxfanatic2317, GOWO and everyone in the hall of fame.
