But it don`t help me really.
I can`t open the models correctly.
Perhaps I must reinstall some more appz or that thing doesn`t support the German Halo

Could be your regional settings???I've heard Europeans use , (comma) instead of . (period) for their fractional separator...This uses the period...

Iron_Forge: I exclusively use the .X export function of the plugin (it seems to give me "cleaner" models. Any idea if you can fix the bones export? It almost works for some models but it messes up the scale of some components (I get giant Banshee wings and a really, really tiny MC helmet when I export with bones) and they flip out when you try and adjust them.

.X export works great in other respects.

If you have any questions or need to see the output let me know.

(Note: Using Deep Exploration v. 3.5.9)

The vertices link to the correct bones for meshes that have bones (the MC head doesn't)...However the transformation matrices are incorrect, which is why nothing works...I don't forsee fixing this anytime soon...I believe Halo 2 uses quaternions like H1 did, however there are a ton of floats associated with bones now that H1 didn't have...Combine this with the fact that I'm not 100% sure how to write them in the X files, there's not much I can do...

Bummer. Oh well, it's not impossible to create a new skeletal rig and copy over the weights table to get a structure that won't go crazy.

Again, thanks for the model exporter!

And what's this veegie is talking about regarding exporting the A8 bumpmaps? Is that a future tool connected with the ADI plugin set that will be released?

Ok noob coming through... Im seriously like.. confuzzled.. What is a rig? Also I have no clue what to do and yet I have been reading over the posts. Anyways here is what I did: Exported it as a obj file, got like 20 different files. Imported each one into 3ds max 7, I dont know if what ive done is right so far because this model looks jacked.

looks like u imporeted every .obj files. u only need to import 16,17,18,and 19

yeah i know, i already edited my post.. now only problem is the god damn visor wont let me texture it with pretty much anything.. Also ive been trying to learn how to do bones good.. so u know if anyone wants to help me with that :roll:

I install model library and i have the HOUSE icon. But when i open any map and chose a model, i've got an error :?

"library number 1 is fucked up" :shock:
Could some1 help me? :(

If i wanted to render a hog, which .obj files would i need to import? There are 160, and some are of the warthog broken etc

Grab up the latest plugin, it names the files alittle better...Pick the models with the .5 (or highest number), since that represents the LOD...You'll probably want all the same pieces aswell...The main model is usually .base. or .default....

got some serious problems here ^^
after i extract a model (.obj) into max5.1 it just shows up nothing O_o
whats tha deal?everthing is installed correctly and works fine but
ill get no meshes in the 3ds,same also in the deep exploration:
