Yelo: Halo 2 (Xbox)

So hello...

I have a question to ask, maybe someone knows what my dilemma might be.

Here goes the story.

I install Yelo and Xored, everything works fine for a long time, I upgrade to bigger hard drive, things still work as I recall...

I install a second hard drive for Xbox Live. That way I can play XBL on one HDD and have another one for modded purposes.

But now when I load Yelo (with the modded HDD of course) it's all glitchy. For example, when I have Cinematic LODs enabled I can't look anywhere, and only works with a second controller. With LODs off, I can look. But in both modes, when someone walks, it appears like they are just hovering over ground. And when someone drives they are just hovering and appearing all over the place. And many other errors and glitches that are really frustrating.

I thought it would be a simple fix. I wiped my modded hard drive clean and reinstalled softmod on it and halo 2, xored, yelo... but to my surprise the glitchiness is still there.

So I'm thinking maybe somehow I messed up some stuff outside the Xbox HDD with using a modded HDD and unmodded HDD. Any advice on what I could try?

My xbox is softmodded. I'm not sure to what extent I can install new bios. Not familiar with that. I was under the impression it was more for the hardware modchip people.

Anyways.. any help is appreciated.

To put it simply, I would use a single hdd for online and offline play. Just use XBConnect or XLinkKai. For that matter, if you're that addicted to Xbox Live, get a second Xbox console.

Unfortunately, I can't help you solve your problems, but I suppose you could redownload the Xored and Yelo files and start over. Make sure there are no useless trainers in the folder. Some trainers conflict with others in Xored. For that matter, don't use any other program to activate trainers. XBMC causes issues with Yelo.

Just asking for anyone who might care enough to help you: What version Xbox do you have?

Hmm.. I thought I said I rebuilt my entire hard drive, obviously meaning re-downloading and install Yelo + Xored.

Anyways the Xbox that has these problems is a v1.6. On another Xbox it doesn't even load, I'm not sure why, but that's most likely a Xored or EvoX problem, not a Yelo one, so I won't bring that up here.

I'm thinking about just fixing up a broken Xbox and starting fresh on that, and using these other two for actor boxes. Of course, I would want to know why I had the error for future reference.. oh well.

the deswizzler works. The only problem with that tool is that the bmp that it spits out dont seem to like auto pano pro and wont load up in it.

Quick question, Ive never actually played with mods on XBC, X-link ect. but I heard that Yelo makes other characters animaions messed up so that they appear to be sliding around a map.

My qyestion is if they are being still (standing and/or crouching) and lowering there weapons, will those still show up normal? Because I need to take a big group picture.

Also, Can I use Yelo in the same game with non-modders?

Yep, it'll work fine.

Yes. Teleporting, however, only works if you're the host. The game will freeze if you aren't.

ok when i take the pics, they are saving, b/c i checked in the $s folder in flashfxp, but in uber screenshot tool it says there is 0 pics in halo 2 folder, any help?

Are you sure you have a correct connection up? Your IP changes...Make sure your settings for your UST account are in-order. And obviously check all the basics..Is xbox in dashboard, are both console and PC connected to the internet etc. Hope this helps.

And I'm still waiting on some help for Vista compatibility for UST...or some type of alternative application.

I have a question:

Is the floating characters over system link an universal issue?

Somehow I thought it worked for a while, but maybe I was just dreaming. So does everyone have this problem?

Also, was there a previous version of Yelo, or is the single and only version ever released?
