Dependencies are the things that has to do with the meta, like the projectile of the weapon, and the collison model and everything, right?

Exactly, They are files required by other files.

Progress Update: To save time from having to switch back and forth from HMT and HHT, I made HHT use HMT's XML plugin system. I will release this new version after I get the sound, bitmaps, and scenario plugins working also.

Oh no, i have imported a model, the model is allright, but the skin is very displaced :(

its easy to import a log digikid 2, lol

all you need to do is batch extract the map you want the log in, then go to the log map with the log aready in, check recursive, and click 'save meta' then copy all those folders into the batch extracted place, then rebuild the map and its done!

in hmt3 of course :mrgreen:

Do you need to map rebuild the same as HMTv3?

the only thing i can say is that obviously nobody wants the halo hacking community to move onward. If everyone keeps everthing a secret from everyone else, like a guide on how to use this program, the halo modding community will die. we all need eachother to make further progress. It sickens me to listen to these people saying shit like i'm not going to help you because your a noob, or I'm Mr. badass i made a cool program and i'll never release it to anyone or if i do i sure as hell wont thell them what the fuck to do with it because im so mother fucking cool. That will make everony think im cool. Further more, it also sickens me that nobody takes tme to help noobs. If you were to just start modding and didn't even know how to change a projectile then you sure as hell would want somone to help you wouldnt you? Whats wrong with posting a short tutorial? Is it going to take 5 min of your precious boasting time? God forbid that would happen. If nobody helps the noobs, they will never get better. If you want to make yourself Mr. badass whynot make a SIMPLE to use program that allows for the same thing, but in SP aswell? Until either one or the other of my requests has been completed, i refrain from helping this community in any way. I could remember back when the best mod ever was just to be able to shoot a diffrent projectile. You are all acting like 3 year olds now that you can do something . from now on, as far as i'm conserned, Halo, is dead to me.

good job man really great program. i have been using a hex editor to swap dependencies for so long, and with rebuilt maps, that can get pretty messed up not knowing the correct offsets. anyways good job. and deathball, i agree with you completely. i think all this stuff should be shared with other people. all this stuff about people stealing your work, its nonsense. if someone steals your stuff and makes it there own, they are childish and stupid. it is their problem. if programs and mods and tutorials and stuff are shared with people, it increases the chances of someone finding out something cool and expanding on what you have done. but thats just my opinion.

does that mean that sounds, and bitmaps will not work properly if you inject them from another map? and if it does then i think it'd be great if you made a plugin for models while your at it ;) Could u also give an estimated release date? And once again, kick ass proggy!

Fine if the program can be used to take a SP Vehicle like the Wraith and put it into MP and make it work and look good, then somebody tell me how its done, and I agree with DeathBall 100%.

Can someone plz help me. I'm trying to get it to where you can use the plasma sword in sp but everytime I try to use it the sword explodes and I get an exception error. Any help would be appreciatted. Thank you.

can someone please write a tutorial for this program, and also what is dependancy swapper,recursive saving, and meta. dont get mad at me for not knowing these things, im only 12

oh and also, how do you open a map, i try to open and it says "error: map is compressed", how do i uncompress it?
