HaloCE: Custom Weapon VTS

Hey this is a full custom weapon tutorial. It covers modelling, texturing, tool, guirilla, and sapien. So, without further delay, here it is:

Well, here it is. The gun made in the tutorial is the M4-99 shotgun.

Part 1 - Modeling

Part 2 - Texturing

Part 3 -Tagging

Part 4 - Tool and Geurilla

Part 5 - Finishing up

Done like 4 times before.The vid tut is ok but you should explain more instead of just doing.

Multi, the files aren't corrupt... I just DLed one (Modelling) and it worked fine.

I redownloaded it and it works now. Freaking awsome tutorial SMASH, but I have to ask, you like air dont you?

I learned a lot from just watching these without actually participating, very, very nice job

yea, air is good... it's actually that I am using a PS2 mic (originally bought for SOCOM) but because it was a USB it works on a computer too. It's really sensitive so it picks up everything (i.e. my breathing).

Also, I am glad the helped... the only thing I probobly should've put in there is FP animations... then again, that would be a whole nother 3 videos in themselves and they are not my forte.

It was helpful, but you should plan everything out in the tutorial before you go to record it. I always write a list of everything I'm going to do in that order when I do tutorials. It makes it easier for the person following them. It seemed like you forgot some things along the way, and you were already past them when you realized you'd need to go back in order for it to work.

It helped me a little. A funny thing is that in the "Tool and Guerilla" tutorial, he says "Slash, M490, Slash, M490, goodnight!!!" WHo was he saying goodnight to?

OMG Smash is my HARO!..Lol i made a nice desert eagle..But..I need tips on getting the mesh on top of the gun..I got the bitmap on he sides..But i had to do all the top w/ filler =(

edit:OH i know this isnt a weapon..But a F-16 aircraft would be cool in halo...OR a HALO:CE Tutorial on vehicals.

Honestly, the way I skinned in that tut completely sucks. Lately I've gotten photshop and followed some of these tuts to skin it

thank you i was trying to use tool and when i ran it from run on my start menu it was taking me to a bad file and saw your video and i noticed they wern't the same so i did some searching and found the good file and used that and it fixed everything
