[plugin]mode.ifp For bones and markers,[tut]Weapon light Tut

Well everyone in the other thread got mad at me for posting about my plugin so they told me to make my own thread :P . So I did :? .

There is a tut on how to add a flashlight to a weapon and make the light come out of the gun so it could be like a shoty flashlight or a battlerifle fashlight. It is in the download, I will also be posting it in the tuts section.

Well this is a mode.ifp for insolence. I Have had this for awhile now, if you don't belive me I will post some evidence :? . Anyway this plugin is like the other threads one but has some more features.

What it can do:

It can rotate bones using the Yaw Pitch Roll
It can move bones on a X Y Z axis
It can move a single bone on the X Y Z axis without moving the children attached to the bone.
It can rotate markers using the Yaw Pitch Roll
It can move markers on a X Y Z axis.

This is all in the ifp and I had also opened up all the undefined so people can play with them.

Now flame away about how you think I copyed the other guy :wink:

o what your saying is we can moive markes round like in Halo CE and choose were flass light and pojectiles will come from out of the gun and such! wow nice you should also put a note here that to find the correct moving co-ordinates use 3ds max and place a small sphere or something were you want the onject to be then record down the co-ordinates.

Sounds like a plan! Aslong as you keep the model the size the same when you open it in 3ds max it might work, however I am not sure.

I'm not exactly sure what nodes are, but markers denote placements of...whatever. Targets. Turrets. Where weapons fire from. Where master chief's feet are. Seats.

nodes? what are nodes? markers have many functions they tell the game where to place things such as markings that change e.g. the pic on the tank
also they tell the game when something collides with a bone so as to effect the bone acordinglly e.g. the hog suspension
im sure there was a few other things but i cant remember them...edit: there snaku has them

yeah this is slightley like Ce modding so do a little weapon modelling for Ce research you can learn alot :D

and when i say lickey i mean LICKEY :P
