Um do you need to have the new multiplayer maps to make this work or just stick with the old halo 2 disk without Live.

this is a bad tut, you dont even tell how to get the ip of the Xbox not even to mention that it's pretty pointless if you have to mod your xbox just to mod halo2...quite frankly I don't feel like screwing up my 360 ya know....

Is there anyway to apply these mods with the standard HDD that comes with the xbox? i dont have enough room to create a full backup halo 2 on my HDD.

dont transfer the single player maps, these have numbers infront of them ex 3a_oldmombasa you can delete all of those just make sure you keep the mainmenu.map shared.map and single_player_shared.map. Then you should have enough room.

what doomer said also don't transfair the bink folder either, all that contains is the bungie load up screen the game demo and the end credits I think theres about 1 GB there, I have a completely standard HDD and I have 2 copies of H2 mp on it granted not much music or other game saves (excluding my TimeSplitters3 maps)

H2
Maps folder (removing all single player maps except SP shared)
fonts folder (inside maps folder)
media folder (all of it)
default.xbe

using just these files it comes down to around 1.4 GB

and unless you like waterworks you can delete that too

Single_player_shared isn't required either since Multiplayer maps only use the Shared.map unless its rebuilt by H2C and a new sbsp.
Otherwise, delete it also.

But once you play Halo 2 off of your disk and the shared.map is cached, you can also delete the shared map as well.

wtf

ok when im trying to apply a coagulation mod from this site and its a sppf. When i open sppf i put the map where the map goes aand i put the patch where it goes and then i hit apply patch. Then i use encryptomatic signature to sign it.Then whhen thats done i open up flashfxp and go to the map files and all that stuff. Then i open the folder with the patched coag and overwrite the one from my xbox.It then says that it was transfered but when i get on to play it nothing has changed and this has happened numerous times while trying to put mods on new maps also.when i use to mod 2 years ago i never had this problem what is wrong :(

-Did you let the program finish patching?
-Are you sure that the map you're patching is the same one you're FTPing?
-Have you tried using a different FTP program?
-When you mod a map, are you sure that you saved your changes?
-What map are you patching?
-When you patch and go to play it, are you running from the HD, or the disk?

When you're at your Modded dashboard, do you Launch the Disc? Or do you go to Games > Halo 2, assuming that you're using Unleash X.

I helped him fix it.

He was launching the disc, because he didn't have Halo 2 fully backed up, he only had the maps, so it didn't show up as one of the games he could launch from the dash.

i have no clue

Is your xbox even softmodded/hardmodded?

PPF-o-matic is obsolete as ever. Use Serenity 3.30 or SPPF.

As for Encryptomatic Signature tool: look here.
