I can't find static or dhcp anywhere. DO I have to have some kind of modded Xbox or something? Im am SUCH a noob at this.

Where's the username and password in your xbox settings? I found a type of a username and password, but neither is filled in.

You don't, you just set the 'File Type' in the 'Open' window to 'All Files', then select te .map file

its still not leting me put the worlock map in the ISO File space, what am l suppose to do with the file exacly?

Click the disk next to the ISO File box
You now have an open window, with two boxes, "File Name" and "Files of Type"
Click the drop down arrow next to "Files of Type"
Select "All Files (*.*)"
Now you can select your map file, and press Open
The select your PPF in the Patch box

If this is the wrong place i'm sorry just trying to get some help. But when i make my changes to a MAP can i FTP it to the xbox under a new name and it show up in the game? Like say i make a map called Test and then when i go into play and pick a map will the "test" map be there? Also do i have to edit the shared and single player maps to get it to work? i really have no idea....

hey guys...
i am new at modding halo 2 and i have got all the programs that the tutorial says and i am just haveing trouble connecting to my xbox through Smartftp i have typed in the ip address my xbox and the username and password and then it trys to connect but it wont it comes up with this "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine"
any of u guys got any suggestions.. plz coz it would help me alot thanks

Use FlashFXP. it works better and has a better UI.

i am useing flashfxp and i am trying to connect ot my xbox and it wont let me it keeps on comeing up with connection lost it connects to it and then goes connection lost. u guys got any suggestions?
can you mod halo2 with a softmodded xbox?
