A large part of Crackdown's enjoyment factor is the simplicity in gameplay. About the only thing here that "looks like Crackdown" and is comparable as such is the super-strength/agility factors and camera angle. The entire gameplay practice and playstyle is expressed differently.
Crackdown is like Crackdown. Prototype is like Crackdown changed entirely and with entirely different features. It has a similar appearance, not gameplay mechanic.
Really it's more parkour than Crackdown.

In conclusion, it is hardly comparable to Crackdown in any features, combat, movement, and most other gameplay mechanics. It has a similar camera angle, but is entirely different in how most everything plays. It's like Crackdown if you consider running fast and being strong to be a feature of Crackdown and not many games.

I'm really bored so I made an argument.

I think the previews make it look good and id love to try it out. But realistically, I think this game is going to be one of those games that look good, but when you actually play it are a let down.

But it doesnt matter because by the time we pop in the game disc, Thirst will already be a level 50 in it.

They took out co-op. Hoefully they will re-add it back in later. I'll keep watch of this game though.

God this game looks awesome, can't wait till it comes out.
But I share that similar feeling that this game will be a let down also though

It reminds me of Ultimate Spider-Man (when you play as Venom) more than Crackdown. Hopefully it isn't a let down.

I'm really looking forward to the parkour part of the game.
