I might do a similar thing, as I plan on upgrading my PC with some new stuff my Dad got recently, I'll make a topic in a while.Pyroman wrote:If I had a PC that could run it, I would buy it. The mods people are gunna make will be amazing.
Buying a new PC next paycheck though...So I will probably pick this up.
I highly doubt that the requirements would be too high, a mid aged graphics card would probably work, but I think the killer in this set would be processing power. I expect the later end of the P4s(or AMD Equivalent) to be the minimum, and mid to high range Core2Duos(Or AMD Equivalent) to round out the Preferred specs. I foresee Highest of the 9XXX series (and nVidia Equivalent) to be the minimum for the graphics for it. The game itself graphically won't be too demanding, I expect any machine that can handle the Unreal Engine to handle RAGE just fine.

Graphically Demanding? It'll be above Oblivion/Below Crysis, which means at least $120-$200 for me, although, processing power ain't a problem, and a new Hard-Drive is good, because I have a Terrabyte one in a computer in my cellar.Cuda wrote:I highly doubt that the requirements would be too high, a mid aged graphics card would probably work, but I think the killer in this set would be processing power. my graphics card isn't the problem.Cuda wrote:I highly doubt that the requirements would be too high, a mid aged graphics card would probably work
even if i deleted halo, all my mods, and modding tools and stuff like that i still wouldn't even have room for it, it will be too big to run on my comp, and if it did fit it would have extremely low FPS

Defrag and a new HD perhaps? I'm Rocking 500 in, 500 out. I can't wait to see them specs. I am willing to buy a new mobo to support a new processor just for this game.AbeFroman wrote:my graphics card isn't the problem.Cuda wrote:I highly doubt that the requirements would be too high, a mid aged graphics card would probably work

I really have no interest in getting this on PC, other than the fact the graphics stuff might be vastly improved (whatever you call that fuzzy stuff you see everywhere, diffuse maps, don't know... is really bad in GTAIV on consoles)
Already have it for 360 though, so doubt I'd pick it up. Games like this don't benefit a ton with having a mouse-keyboard quite as much.
