What do you guys think about the MLG? There website is here" mlgpro.com

I think it's pretty cool. Their website is real nice too.
I haven't been to any events yet, but I am wanting to go. I would probably get destroyied but hey, maybe not!11 ;o;o

But what are your thoughts on it?

i would never join.

every player i have played on xbl that was from that site are;

-Very arrogant
-Very rude players
-Take the game way to serious

Some of my friends actually compete at MLG. My one friend won like $1,000 USD. But then he quit cause he got bored and his sponsor took the money back.

What happened with xbox? I heard he was thinking of making a trainer for them to use, but never heard anything after that. Did that go bad, or was it something else?

Battle rifle and no radar games make me angry.

I think that makes my view on MLG pretty clear.

They used a camera trainer he made (with his permission) in some show they broadcasted on USA, then left him out of the credits. Arguments were had, they eventually came to their senses and things were solved.

I think any form of "professional" gaming is just silly. I don't see how taking a game seriously or making it your career would be fun at all.

Professional Atheletes don't all think that their sport is fun. They like competition and money though, and sometimes they get to have fun doing what they do too. I like MLG better for halo 2, because the battle rifle is not the best weapon in the game, but the best overall, so you don't start off screwed when someone else has control of the map. Other weapons beat it in their best scenario when the user has equal skill with that weapon as the battle rifler.

BTW, i've played my fair share of people in MLG...and i've given them a hard spanking. So when it comes down to it, being Professional at a game doesn't say much about your skill.
