In my opinion, vehicles made for transporting either people are cargo are horrendous in America compared to European ones.
As a matter of fact, Ford's whole European line seems far better than the US one. You've got your
C-Max for taking people around,
S-Max for larger stuff and more comfort,
Mondeo as a large sedan, and the
Fiesta as a compact (which is coming to the US). Not to mention, the European Focus is much better than the US one...
I just find the way things get done in regards to cars here in America to be pointless. Crossover. Oh look, it's a station wagon lifted up some inches to give people in Southern California the ability to fight blizzards, which are so prevalent there. There's nothing wrong with needing to take around five to seven people, either, but 99% of the times I've seen a GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition, or Cadillac Escalade pass by, there's one person sitting in it. All it seems to be is an automotive penis comparison.
Not to mention, they actually sell diesel cars in large numbers across the pond.
