maybe parts of the reef sticking out of the water? they can be strange colors you know. That or maybe someone colored the map.
And neat how they caught a plane.

Heh. The aircraft ones are funny. There's one like that at KDFW has that off of one of their runways, there's an AAL jet that's captured about 4 times on departure in a row.

i'd bet that red stuff is natural, like a reef or something. when google earth has an image update for that area, check back, and if it's still the same, i'll bet it's a reef.
and really, planes aren't all that special, there's tons of 'em. when i want to see on google earth is a car crash, so if someone knows of one, link now.

Yes. It used to be somewhere in Germany, but I followed a link to it before and the bug was gone.
