Worth me purchasing? I love the other ones and was gonna get this one, but Bad Company called me. I'm concerned about replayability.GametagAeonFlux wrote:"Finished" my Warrior run through of Ninja Gaiden 2. By "finished", I mean there's a glitch that makes the game freeze before the final boss fight(s), and I reached the very last save point before said glitch occurs. The last bosses are total pushovers too. ;p
Also upped my karma score quite a bit over my Acolyte run (was 17.4 million, now at something like 22-23...). The game was kicking my ass for a while but I really think I'm starting to learn it as well as I had Ninja Gaiden Black. Hooray progress.

There's a demo. Give it a try before buying it, even if you played/liked the Xbox original, Black or Sigma. It takes some getting used to, but after you get the hang of it, the game is loads of fun.ScottyGEE wrote:Worth me purchasing? As for replayability, definitely...running through Acolyte with fully upgraded weapons is loads of fun, and I've personally noticed a world of improvement in my skill at the game after playing on a higher difficulty. But really, play through on Acolyte first if you do end up getting it. If you play through on Warrior, you're just going to hate yourself for not understanding the enemies and the weapons.

Do Warrior. Acolyte too easy. If you start in Warrior you get chest hair. Grrr.GametagAeonFlux wrote:It's the first stage, and you're using the most powerful weapons in the game fully upgraded (at least, I think they are...). >_>ScottyGEE wrote:Loved it and hated it for being too easy

"confirmed".
Edit: Also everyone should go and Play the "Alone in the Dark Demo" right now. Wow. My Only complaint is that some of the controls are kind of resistant and heavy. I'm usually not a fan of these games, they usually bore the crud out of me... but this...this one is different. Bioshock was that of Water, Alone in the Dark is that of Fire. Play it. Now.

"You know what I'd like to be? I mean if I had my goddamn choice, I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all."
or should I?
If there is one game I don't want to play, it's Alone in the Dark. I've heard nothing but bad from almost every source I've seen.INSANEdrive wrote:Edit: Also everyone should go and Play the "Alone in the Dark Demo" right now. Wow. I beat Black on Master Ninja, played through Acolyte first and died <25 times. A friend of mine started on Warrior and had nearly 250 deaths in one playthrough. I honestly think you'll have a much more enjoyable experience playing through Acolyte first. Especially because if you decide to play through on Warrior, you'll have a lot more time to hone your skills before the nightmare (apparently) that is Mentor.INSANEdrive wrote:Do Warrior.
