Erm... you know, I did research on Intel vs AMD. For the average CPU, intel seems to like to multi-task faster and use less power while AMD uses a tad more power, but AMD can process frames faster and generally helps more if you are a big fan of gaming. Personally, I'd say you'd be better off with AMD, especially if you buy a decent power supply. Ill update this later with specs you said you prefered and another spec sheet with some things I think will be good. Then you can look at them and compare them.

I'd rather have small energy savings and multitasking that single-tasking games and getting SOME improvements. My gaming involves a lot of multitasking, I run chat programs, a music player, and my game at the same time (two monitors), so take that into consideration as well...whether you'll run JUST a game at once, or a game and other things. And then, what would also work well for your general use.kornkidcrazy wrote:Erm... you know, I did research on Intel vs AMD. I say people who don't know how to setup dual booting never should try...Its so damn easy to setup...At least it has been for me with my various configurations.T1xAnton wrote:Although Dual-booting is great, in Vista and Xp. When dual-booting them, one has a hard time detecting the other, so you have to manually select the hdd it's on etc etc.. Thats what I was told.
And what was the rigs that one?
2 rigs sounds pretty sucky to me. I'd just combine them and dual boot. Later you'll be annoyed about: "Oh damn I left my work on the OTHER computer." then when you put it on both, one will be outdated...
I use two rigs, although I do two very different things on them, so that's usually never a problem. The only time I transfer things is when I download something that I wanted to make sure wasn't a virus or something, or to transfer music or back up things (seeing how my mac, which is my second rig, has 5x the HD space
)

You guys want to know a good joke? It's really good.

Screencapped for great justice.

So, youhoo7, you've lied to both forums about a reward, then lied about the victor. Interesting. Seems you tried to worm your way out of paying someone, eh? Clever, but I think you fail to realize something: People would have helped without the monetary incentive. Now all you've done is make yourself look terrible and lost respect from many. Was it really worth it?
On the bright side, it made me laugh at how ridiculous you are for lying about something like this.

Wow...
Seriously, like how low do you want to go?
We are a helpful community (believe it or not), so you try and get more help by bribing two forums, then lie about it? You essentially just thought it'd be fun to "use" us or the other forum...Ugh. Wow what a rebel
I...Just don't really know how to describe it other than to say I just don't like you...At all. And yes I agree with Tural, it is funny in its sadness.
