I get that far too often.
Dreams are really stupid. I mean there are two possibilities for a good dream, always a loss-loss situation. You:
A: Get interrupted in a really really good part of a dream (just before making love

or when you finally get to your goal)
B: End the dream the way it would end when not interrupted. Problem is that you will pretty much forget the dream every single time.
There is only one good possibility:
You have the scariest nightmare in your life. The nightmare ends without interruption. You forget the nightmare.
Okay, dreams are good for something. In a lot of cases, dreams can be a good source of inspiration. I seriously once had a dream where you meet flood in a level like the Silent Cartographer. There is this human outpost in the underground facility that is hidden somehow in a spot where you usually don't go. In that room there were some crewmen and some marines. And there was a door that you shouldn't open. When I opened it, there was this large Hugeass-like landscape behind it. Then floods started to come out. I wasn't really scared, I was more like "Hmm, interesting." When I woke up, I felt like making the extra room. I didn't do it, though.
I have the habit of sleepwalking. In a positive way. When I have to go to the bathroom, I go and do that while sleepwalking. Last night I went to sleep in a large sheet, because of the hot weather. I put my usual blanket on a chair. I woke up in my usual blanket (upside down), with the sheet next to the bed.
And sometimes I talk in my sleep. Someone once told me a line that I said in my sleep that I found so odd/funny, that I had to put it in my sig.
