I dislike the Vista TP so very much. I would rather like a Mac TP though, :].

Edit;

Found one. 8)

It replaced Beryl 3D within Ubuntu, so it's now used for the screen effects, etc.

Here's an example video of it:

Not long ago, the Beryl project merged with Compiz. The Beryl compositor was dumped and Compiz was modified to help the transition for the plugins, which were then ported. The result was Compiz Fusion. If you have any further questions, I am a plugin developer.

Use Vista Inspirat. Uninstall it and it still leaves the themes without any slowness of the comp.

Eh I installed it yesterday. Looks a lot better, but the boot time is oh so much slower. You can also choose which parts you want to install. When I uninstalled it, there were so many remnants it left behind (icons,guest login image, etc.). If you do uninstall this, I recommend taking a program called icon packager and reverting your icons back to normal if you wish.

It doesn't do much except make your desktop look better. The program is not worth downloading.

What rave reviews this thing has gotten here ;)
Heck, this thing sounds less positive than the internet's distorted view on vista itself! :P

Well this honestly doesnt slow down my computer it uses a little more system resources but other then that it works fine and you can COMPLETELY remove it i did because i wanted to install classic, not express so i can customize everything and it was fine!

IDK about your computers but it runs fine on my computer

The only reason I would even CONSIDER this, is if it had the Windows Key + Tab thing, but I can live without. >_>

I don't understand why people want their OS to look like another readily available OS.

If you have XP, you have XP. Does it matter what it looks like? :S

I strongly discourage the use of this, it alters system files and there is not gurantee they can be re altered to go back to normal. and why would you want your OS to look vista? vista (in my opinion no need to make anybody mad) is a peace of crap that fell out of microsofts ...

oh and hi everybody!

The best thing to do is get vista. The second best thing to do is gather the apps and themes that make it like vista your self so you know what your exactly doing to your computer.
