I want to quit my job

I don't mean to be Mr. Obvious, but... he did For some people, it's just easier to ask people you don't really know and not in person, especially if you don't really want to ask your parents because how they may react, etc.

Durrr; I asked here cause I was trying to think of what I was going to say before I had to leave for work but kept coming up with blanks, finally at about 10 minutes before I had to leave for work I made this thread to see if I could get a last minute suggestion :p

Anyways I really appreciate the responses. I ended up telling him I was giving him my 2 week notice at the end of my shift... I couldn't work up the nerve to do it at the beggining and I would have felt awkward the entire shift if I had.

Some of your suggestions where helpful, other where just funny but still appreciated. Humour tends to put me in better moods.

As for why I never asked a friend, its because one of my friends works there with me but since one of the other employees died recently he was still grieving (my friend knew the guy who died). Also he would have just been pissed off at me for quitting because it means he has to work more shifts then he already does, and he needs as much time as he can get for school-work as he can get (one of the reasons I decided to quit this job; also the fact the I will be able to work for my dad for like twice the wage, and on a better schedule. I will be working weekends so that leaves my weekdays open for schoolwork. Also since my other friend works weekends as well it all works out).
