Robots

Post by CompKronos »

Robots. While they have they place in modern pop culture, they also have there place in the hearts of various enthusiasts. Well i have tinkered around with electronics a little bit and have tried to get some smaller devices work but to no avail. However I will keep plugging away. For instance, actually figuring out what I need to connect to the Arduino before i burn out an LED. But anyways what i was wondering is that i know some people here on halomods are fairly/very technically inclined and was wondering if they could point me in the right direction to get started. Like where to electronic components, parts to build chassis and other systems, good tuts on how to make a robot, and the rest. Im not necessarily dumb at this but i just don't know where to start. Any advice is appreciated.

Start with the Parralax BOE Bot. It's really great for the aspiring roboticist.

It's very fun, very rewarding, no soldering required!

Now get it.
