I hate it when I start playing the trial version of halo (lost my CD key ;_; ) for the first time in months, and people keep asking me to join a clan. Look people, I know I'm 1337. Why would I want to join a group of people much less 1337 than me?

Anyways, today's rant is homework projects. I hate them. The deadline is way too far off, and promotes procrastination. What they should do is break it up into parts, each with a different due date. That would ensure that the project was actually done. It would solve everything.

Also, those damn fucking word filters.

Actually I agree with you Mr E.A... Making a project due in like 3 months is pretty bad...I guess it gives some people some freedom if they are in poor situations where they cannot do it until later...But most of the 3 month projects can be done in a week if you try hard enough... People usually would leave it to the last minute because they do not need to do it until later.

I'm talking about school projects, not business related ones, I'm sure you can't do a 3month project in 1 week for them

I blame media because nobody listens to those anti smoking ads. Those are pointless, everyone knows that drugs are bad for you, and they do them anyways. It's the "Cool" thing to do these days. Think about a few movies...

Just to name one...Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. That movie was entire trash, but it did well because the people in the movie did drugs, and so people who watched the movie made that connection with the characters and so they laughed with them. I found the movie stupid as hell and I've never smoked pot in my life.

What about popular games? Hell in GTA San Andreas you could smoke pot. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE GAME INDUSTRY?! I remember back when I was a kid I'd go to the arcade and play friggin Klax and it had the "Winners dont do drugs" screen in the game. Now I'm not saying that games are super influential or anything like that, I'm saying that it feels like smoking pot is something that is just... "Accepted".

Anyhow, it's early... that's all I feel like typing.

I can't stand people who think they are "it".

Instead, I fucking hate them. I would like to punch all of them at my school in the face, but if I try to do that I would get stabbed, meaning that punching is not the ideal way.

haha no offence llama, but saying you can smoke pot in GTA:SA means hardly anything...In a game where you can have sex (and hack the hot coffee too), kill thousands upon thousands of people, I don't see how them smoking pot makes it accepted...If that's the case, then its also acceptable to kill thousands of people, kill the police and have sex with prostitues and steal their money...........No it doesn't.

That's a big claim...I don't do shit like pot and what? I liked the movie! I found it stupid, the funny kind of stupid...Everybody has their own opinions and not everybody has to like something, but to say that if its different to yours they must smoke pot isn't right.

I don't know how to end this...so I'll just click submit and prepare for my post to be deleted because its not an argument topic however other people are still allowed to post comments on people's rants but just not allowed to give people other views on what they are saying and this is a long sentence with little punctuation.

I wouldn't say too much the Media influences drugs as much as friends may. Some people just find it weird to say no to their friends.

Some other people on the other hand, are curious and want to try it.

Also Cuda, He can grow it in a trailer filled with tinfoil like Trailer park boys. >_>

2 things:

1. I hate when I don't see someones invisible text, and go on making an ass of myself by not knowing the whole story.

2. I hate how everyone seems to think they can get mad at my dad for the post office screwing up. He delivers mail, and has had several people come up to him and ask where their F&*(ing mail is. When he goes on to tell them he has no idea, hundreds of thousands of peices of mail are delivered each day, and all he does is deliver it, they start swearing more and tell him he's useless. One time a person from a differant friggan town asked him where her mail was, how the hell should he know, she's not even on his godam route. People are so stupid....

By "everybody has done pot" I mean near everybody. It's gotten so familiar to me that I can smell it a mile away. I can almost tell when people did it, and no matter how much perfume and Cologne I can still sniff it out. My teachers, My Parents, (step included), Friends, Grandparents, classmates, The UPS man, the Mail man, and even a few cops do pot. I wouldn't be surprised if a majority, if not all of the members on this board has ever experimented with drugs, or their Parents have.

Pot is Everywhere. The Illusion is the shit the DARE cops put in your head. "Only Bad People Do Drugs, and If you do drugs, you'll be a bad person too."My dad isn't a bad guy, Racks in almost a half a mil a year, and does it occasionally. My Science Teacher has a PhD and graduated from Yale with near perfect scores and he does pot. I'm not going to be the pusher and say, "Successful people do pot, and doing so will make you money!", since I know a lot of hood rats that do it often. Pot isn't a Big deal. Like I stated in my earlier post, It would be legal if it was easier to control and tax. Tobacco on the other hand, take time to grow and harvest, dry out, and prep. The process takes longer, and costly. This is in a deeper sense than walking to the corner store and picking up a pack of Marlboro Reds.

Yea I have done pot. Big whoop? I have a great education and don't have a police record. Everytime I see those anti-weed commercials I turn it cuz they are so corny and untrue.

Those anti-tobacco commercials piss me off too. I mean I have friends who ask me to smoke cigs with them...I say no (don't smoke cigs)...and they don't go; "Ah come on man it will make you cool dude...come on dude try it come on come on"...They just say "No problem dude...save yourself haha".

And I am done.

Absolutely, the implications given off by the commercials which say that the kids will go "No, it will make you cool man!" are completely untrue, most of the kids that do that stuff know what they are putting in their body and the consequences, and will understand if someone refuses.

Around here if you don't want to do drugs, you just avoid them. Sounds simple eh?

After I posted my last post here, I thought about my Jay and Silent Bob comment. I started thinking of other times in movies where drugs play a positive role.

Snakes on a Plane came to mind. The guy is getting laid and smoking pot. He has an amazingly hot girl and it gives off that image that drugs will get you an amazing woman.

ahh hell with it. I don't care to argue anymore, I'm tired I'm pissy and overall I just dont care.

Oh and for the record, I'm not emo. I've just been unable to sleep well for about 3 months. That'll make anyone hate the world.
