i've never modded halo 2 or played a halo 2 mod and i wanted to get into it and i need to kno the tools,requirements,and i dont have an xbox only a 360.

well, becuz ur new, i suggest u start with dothalo. when u get good, u can start using entity (u can use entity now if u want but it may be confusing 4 u). also, a good resigner would be CMR (if u mod new maps - cheater)
also Insolence will get items from map to map.

cant think of anything else, other than Ch2r and h2x. somebody else name some useful (and proper) apps. im out of ideas

i dont have any of the new maps atm and i need to kno how to get the maps on my pc

I would suggest getting a used xbox instead of using a 360 to mod.

To mod with a 360 you need xsata and Xplorer 360 to get the maps from your hard drive. You either need xbox live or a friend with the new maps disk in order to get them.

just buy a used xbox 1. they're very cheap now a days. I see them around for less than $50 sometimes

yea i got one for like 60 bucks last summer so i know there cheaper than that now, but yea 360 modding requires stuff we cant talk bout on these forums anyway, oh and btw if u do mod ur 360 say bye bye to xbl because you won't be able to use live so its pretty much stupid to do that

you can too have a modded 360 and play live, its called stealth patching used in the latest iXtreme packages if im not mistaken.
