************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Any Idea?

Make sure you have the .NET Framework 2.0, a decent video card, DirectX, a new version of Entity (v. 1.3 is the newest release), and that your map isn't completely screwed up (try a clean map and see if that works). It should work if you have all the above.

Okay, I just tried all of that, i installed directx_feb2007_redist and opened Ascension, the clean one, and opened the BSP Viewer. It came up as the blue .:Loading:. thing, then my monitor flashed, and then it came up with a different error:

This one says INVALID_CALL, what could it be now?

Honestly you don't need to paste all that error log to me, because I don't know what it means any better than you do :wink:

All I know to do is what I already posted. Try redownloading the .NET framework and the newest Entity as well (since you already updated DirectX). Maybe someone else who knows more about the technical aspects of .NET can give you some more tips because I'm all out...

doesn't work... but you know, I have UMP V3. So I went to BSP Viewer, the seperate app from entity, and that loaded fine. Except I don't know how to actually view the map like I would in gameplay. I was able to view the collision points but thats it.

The directx device could not be created, this may be either because you do not have the latest directx, or your graphics card isnt up to it... or just bad coding :?
