Every map that is modified has to be resigned. TData modding isn't welcome here, just add it to your mainmenu.

smokey apply this serenity patch to your mainmenu, snave made it a while ago and it'll add all the dlc maps to your mainmenu.

Now you simply put maps like containment in the same folder as maps like lockout or coag etc.

oh ok thank you...that is helpful. Will that effect my mods in anyway? That is not the original mainmenu.map

BTW, my map loaded to a black screen and I realized that I needed to set the spawns in Entity. All 105 of them are way far outside the map, so I selected them all and moved them into the map. I saved, and after I was doe, I went back and opened the BSP viewer again (I had not closed the program). All the spawns were back to where they originally started! Even worse, I closed the program and reopened my map and it said "This is not a supported map type". What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you are using entity beta 1.4. Has known problems with the BSP viewer save function. Use Entity UE 1.6.

I cant open it in that...it says my SP shared is not found and to set map paths. I have all my reference maps in the same folder, and they are clean. All of the others work thugh...omg this is so dumb

That's because this version of entity doesn't look in the current folder for the maps. You have to set their location yourself. It's helpful in that you don't have to copy all the resource maps to a new folder everytime you start a new mod project. Go to Tools, Settings and then find each map. You don't need to set the Bitmaps.map unless you are gonna open a CE map in Entity.

is it possible to put a diff bsp in the mainmenu? when i try to decompile the mainmenu in h2core, it gets an error everytime

i imagine you will have to decompile a mainmenu which is different from the open set as a shared resource

wat do u mean different from the open set? and when i try to change the bsp in entity, just for the hell of it, it says something about changing this map and all others, continue? and then i click yes and then i have to pick another map then it does it

if you decompile and rebuild all the raw offsets will be moved and ruin your other MP maps.. so no it wont work
