Hey I know this is a n00b question, but I am going to ask it anywayz!

Ok so I just downloaded the mami.serenity (its suppose to be a awesome map). And I want to play it on my xbox, but its not a .map file so how do I make it playable on a xbox? And what folder do I put it in so that my halo 2 game can read the map in-game (the game is not copied to my HDD)

FYI: I have a FTP connection setup between my xbox and computer, and my xbox is modded with a Unleash-X Dashboard!

download serenity32 and then get your mainmenu map and put that with your headlong map, open the patch with S32 and change the output map to Mami and then copy mani and mainmenu over to your xbox and there you go :D

Now will this replace my headlong map, or make a 2nd map in the list?

And I also have a .sppf file, what program do I use for that?

depenens of the 'output map' file name
the original will' be safe as long as the "output map" filename different than the "source map" filename.

Opps
I thought that he was refering to map files, not the menu map list.

Ok so I patched the map and now which folder do I put it under on my xbox?

change the map name to mami and copy it to halo2 maps on your xbox along with mainmenu map

uh on my xbox it isn't that simple, there are 3 folders and each folder has 2 different maps in it (the map packs from XB Live) So do I create another folder or pick one? And then if I just end up picking a folder there is already a mainmenu.map file in there what do I do with teh second one?

*I no longer have XB Live*

find the mainmenu map on the xbox(if theres two then go for the one with old maps) and copy it into that one, then copy mami to where headlong is

well i have the evoX dashboard so it might be different for u dependin on what u hav,but go to system settings and their should be a setting for autorun game, turn that off, then put the halo 2 CD in the xbox and go into FTP on your computer, then go to the D drive on the xbox through FTP and this is the contents of the halo 2 disc, i have no idea about adding maps, i know how to patch a single map using serenity 3.2 but i don't know how to use them.

well I have a unleash-X dash, and what I am going to try is to insert the disc, and all those files I will just FTP to my computer and then put it in the xbox path E:/games/halo2. except I will just not include the coop maps cause thats what takes up all the space! So I will just try this...if I do it this way I should be able to run the game right off my xbox..right?
