Halo 2, getting host.
Halo 2, getting host.
Ok first off this is in NO way a post intended for cheating use. SO please dont go flaming. But on to my question. I was wondering if any one knew what file has the history of your host. I recently upgraded my internet and now have an upload of 900 kps not shure i dont remember what dls reports said. Well 5 days ago i had an upload of 150. I know that your xbox keeps a record of your host. I've been told before it was the cashe but im not shure. If some one could help me on this i would apreciate it. Im tired of having a good connection and not getting host in THC. if you think im going to cheat, w/e dont help me check my games... i cut u up is the gamertag.
Thanks

umm, well my question was directed at halo 2 specificly and it is moding to alter a halo 2 file so yes it is. but no one has really gave me a direct answer yet.WaywornMmmmm wrote:This isn't halo 2 modding related.
So which file is it?ledhedgn wrote: if anything it would be in one of the system folders that is hidden, just like it is in the windows xp os, and since microsoft lack imagination in organization, they probably kept it the same when creating the os for the xbox

If you knew anything about computers you would know what a cache is, and you would know where to find it. Its obvious yoou don't. Instead of wasting our time and yours, do a 5 minute google search, or ftp to your xbox and find it, its realy easy!. I will not tell you where it is because you didn't do any research before posting, thus wasting all of our time, and yours.
lordbunson, you give halomods a bad name. thats arrogant and rude. It must be obvious that you dont know either cause you failed to answer his question. If you knew anything about computers you would know what a cache is, and you would know where to find it. Noob, the cache files, for the xbox, are the X Y and Z drives. Go there and clear those and your xbox cache is gone. however id have to say there is no way clearing your game data cache is gonna do anything for connection speeds (if i understood the first post correctly)
