Just a quick question, Why does the Carbine seem to have 2 Projectiles? I just noticed this now and I tested in a few maps and theirs Proj 0 and Proj 1 when I edit the weap tag. In the dependancies there's 2 proj's too... Am I missing something about the carbine, or what?

Why would it have a second proj scoped? BR doesnt, Sniper doesn't, Beam doesnt....its just doesnt seem right.

its the original br from the e3 demo of halo 2 yet for some gay reason they decided to remove it at the end o well all they did was remove scoped projectile functionality...Meaning u could mess around in hex and get it to shoot the 2nd projectile scoped.

hmm ive got a plugin around here somewhere that allows guns with 2 proj tags to have one proj be shot on R and a completley diff proj be shot with L.
for example i made a new model for the carbine that looked like a battle rifle with a huge barrel on the top of it.
the normal br bullets come out when i press R and when i press L it shoots grenades.
ooooh i got off topic well anyway thats the only way you can use both proj on the carbine and i belive if you do this everyone can see that 2nd proj.

Look at halo 2 ce they have made the E3 Br work with single shot while zoomed and 3 shot burst when not zoomed

Check out the rocket launcher. It has 2 projectiles too.

				Wow.......So does the Plasma Pistol!

Rocket has 2 proj's because of Normal fire, and Target Tracked. PP has 2 proj's because of Uncharged and Charged. Carbine is still baffling though.

i looked in it and there is only on fireing type with both "projectil used" on second.
so the first projectil is not in use at all, so the question is why was it there in the first place?

yeah I used the carbine in a mod I made. I changed it to the BR and made it shoot a 3 shot burst and a 1 shot zoomed in

you dont have to add chunks to do that
there is a hard to find plugin that will do the same thing.
