where can I get 1.5 and the xbox update? i lost splinter cell

You can get the 1.5 AU by going to the link in my sig.
You can get the xbox dashboard AU by logging into any game on xbox live, or by pressing create new account (you don't have to actually create an account - but by pressing it, it checks if you have the version that's on the Halo 2 disk, and if you don't, it brings up the autoupdater). Halo2 should work for that - make sure you're running with the retail BIOS, and go into Halo2, and press create account.
And what does splinter cell have to do with this?

No, it was the 3rd update. (That's the reason its DLC packages use the patch_v3.lvl file.)
There were two minor updates before it that didn't show any version number and fixed some lag-related issues and the instant ctf-capture glitch/cheat.

I see, didn't know that, I started modding halo 2 after they came out, so I had no reason to know, just thought I did
