ok when i used devcam in yelo... in the last movie when master chief sas that hiss "finish the fight" i stop it and lookt around and i found this thing... know what it is?

I think that's what objects that don't have a skin applied to them at the time look like, that's just a guess though.

in h2v u get that same thing if you dont apply a shader to the bsp...mb its liek the same thing.

omgosh lol i saw that thing in desolation's bsp viewer, these round balls with the abcdefg things, i laughed at it

I beleave that they are just used as a point of reference.

That's a cool find (=, although I have no clue what it is for.

It is one of the few things in halo 2 and Halo 2 Vista that doesn't need a defined shader. it is a default incompetent object that defines a place of being (good for live camera programming by Bungie).

ive seen this in several maps, after trying to add things to bsp.
i believe its an object without a skin, as ive seen it after getting errors skinning, and after adding new collision items to bsp.

you see those numbers and letters on the beach level on oldmombasa while in devcam go to the end of the tunnel before it loads it should have all those letters and numbers

I think its a UV mapping aid, however >_> as to WHY it would be used that way IDK, another possibility is that they made it just to screw with ya'll >_>

If they purposely did it, did they expect halo 2 to be able to be modded? Seems strange if you ask me.

ya its not like its an easter egg? cuz u can't get to it without yelo but same with the grunt playing with the mc and elite action figure at the beggining of delta halo map that u can only see on legendary and use yelo to actually see what it is
