yes i just recenlty read the post by ckyfan3k concerning a cetain site Halo2modstore they are selling the killtrocity mappack which i mean we can't really do anything about it but u know its kinda wrong to do that and then they have a little contact topic that says this

"Can you teach me how to mod?

No. Modding takes much more skill and knowledge than you think. The mods we put on xboxes took us 6 months to learn how to do. Teaching people would take an enormous amount of time."

apparenlty they do mods from scratch or somthing because it didn't take me no 6 months to do a mod that was desecant and that people liked i just wanted to post this here and see what the community thinks about this

i say I to getting that site taken down or blacklisted =) and ya hmm its not hard to just go to google and type in bridging programs for xbox live or somthing like that and it will bring them up lol these people on that site apparently don't really know anything about modding or cheating do they? lol

I would understand a hardmodded Xbox to be sold for the price of the Xbox+modchip, but WTF is their problem? Are they just greedy, or are they truley nubs, or are they just taking advantage of true nubs? Either way, its wrong, and they should be taken down. Nothing they are doing is legal. The whole Killtrocity mappack makes it more illegal, because it is selling someone else's work without the makers' consent. And, charging $5 for something that could take me 30 seconds to do, for FREE? And they don't teach the PRIMARY part of modding, the FTP TO YOUR COMPUTER?? No. These mods wont touch any of your saved data or harm it in any way. All modding is reversable.

They won't touch your data, but soft mods can definitely ruin an Xbox. And, it will void your warranty, and I see no warranty from your website.
And, soft mods aren't 100% reversible, especially if you DON'T TEACH THE BUYERS ANYTHING!!!!
And, good job at spelling reversible wrong. >_>

Is your site secure?

Yes, our site is very secure. In fact when you pay you are using the same security level that eBay uses.

Will I get banned from Xbox Live?

Maybe. There is a chance you will. But thats why we recommend getting a second account or using free trials. Plus, even if you get banned you can still have fun in custom games.

It takes no skill, but knowledge yes. Its something that took me about a day to learn, and a week to get the hang of. Why it took you 6 months, I don't know...

Yes. We have been modding for one year and I still get a kick out of playing around with fun mods.

Are your mods for matchmaking or fun?

Both. We made our mods half matchmaking mods and half fun mods. You can always have your mods customized to your liking.

You should try less 50/50 and more 0/100. >_> Matchmaking mods is stupid, and it gets you nowhere. Its cheating to get ahead in a game, which is stupid and pointless. And, you risk wasting $50 a year for a banned account. Stupid. >_>

Its an extreamly long process. Many people think you just run a program or press a button. Well, to mod you need about 10 programs and a lot of experience with computers.
