far from finished but i figured i would post
to see what you guys think about where i am going with this.
I am contemplating how i should design the battery/clip...this isn't a contemporary gun so a normal style of clip wont do....
and if you want to see the concept i am working from...ask and il post it.
so far it sits at 2,631 polygons.
To Do List
-Add firing flappy thingies in the front.
-Add all the widgests and whatnots
-make scope look kewler =P
-Make the battery/clip
-Smoothing groups.
-optimize the symmetry line.
-animate =P

well its definately not amazing, but you certainly have alot of potential with modeling. Keep working on it, try minimize wasting polys, and avoid making what can be textured too high polied.
These fractional multiplications curb the exponential growth of some Cuil calculations and recognize the fact that as things get weirder to us they also become more intensely real. http://cuiltheory.wikidot.com/mathematics-of-cuil
I would have worked on the design a little more before modeling, it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. Also, a lot of that detail you've included is for nothing. Since this is posted here, I assume you want to put it ingame. People will never be looking at it from close up, so you would have been better off skinning those details in. This way you can reduce the poly count too.
