wtf black main menu screen?

I am running Vista Ultimate with Halo Combat Evolved installed and its working fine, but Halo Custom Edition's main menu screen is just a black screen. I can hear the music and sounds from the main menu, but I cannot see it.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure, but if you blame it on Vista, you are retarded.

Personally, I have played halo PC and CE on vista, so that's not the problem.

i wasnt planning on blaming Vista

(I honestly dont have a problem with it)

Ima just reinstall both Halo and Custom Edition and see what happens.
