Help with extruding...

Post by goyanks135 »

Im creating an indoor level and when I use extrude and apply the material, the bitmap gets strectched where I extruded. What are you supposed to do to prevent this?

P.S. sinse I realy dont know anything, what is uv or uva mapping?

UV mapping is your model on a flat plane. This is used to correctly apply textures and bitmaps to your model. Use the UV map modifier on the selected faces and select the appropriate projection. For an extrude use either box or plane for the projection.
