Halo CE Dedicated severs

Is it possible to play in your own dedicated servers once you make them? and f you do then what happens to the host advantage, does it go away then? I know nothing about dedicated servers and if someone could tell me a little bit about it that would help a lot. Thanx

You can play in your own dedicated servers.But theres not host advantage.
Also you cant change maps and stuff like you normaly could.You would have to set an rcon password

An rcon password, what's that? Also what would be the advantage of playing in one of your own dedicated servers versus just making a normal game online, if there is one?

Theres no advantage.Thats what make it fair.
Join your game.Note you cant change maps and stuff.
Go into your ded command promt thingy
and type
sv_rcon_password "Test"

restart your server and join

type sv_rcon test sv_say "Hello all"

Try that.Its pretty funny to mess with people
