my dream is this... I want to download or create and import a corvette Z06 in to replace the warthog in blood gultch. im not sure how to go about doing this but i would really like to know how to start modding vehicles.

it would be really hard tho... you would have 2 get the right type of render, and then you might need to make it as a new vehicle, cuz I dunno, but I don't think you can just replace the model of the warthog, there is proably somethin linked to it that does not allow you.
There are tutorials on this forum how to make a 'new' model. I've altered a banshee into a F16.. took me a lot of time though but here is a pic

U need indeed a model and collision geometry with all the right markers then edit some tags to make it behave and sound more like whatever vehicle you make.

Yes i have, i want to make a special map for it.. the one you see is just one of my maps that's still beta and needs further testing.. I also need to figure out how to make some animations for the plane.. otherwise the canopy will stay open when you fly
i dont know how you would go about creating animations for the canopy but you could just keep it shut and also what kinda mpa are you going to make you should make like a urban map with an airport
I know i can make the canopy shut, it would be cooler if it would close when u get in.. i got the animation but i don't know what should trigger it. And the map will be something like you mentioned
It should be REALLY easy to make the canopy open and close. Just make the animations and save them as JMA's into the animations folder, compile them in tool, then open guerilla and edit the animation tag to match up right. Take a look at the scorpion's animation tag too.

Holy......shiiiiiiiit. That looks fucking amazing.
Fear me, for I am Zuka, the slightly insane Warthog driver!
And after not doing anything with it for a while i (re)checked the nodes of my model etc.. it seems there was a minimum of nodes needed to make it animate.. now the canopy closes, the landing-gear comes up, the rear wings wobble when u get in and we all love the sound
