Uhm... could someone make a map/mod with some new third-person animations. Like some new dieing animations, where they get shot in the stomach, they stop, feel the wound, then fall over. Or headshots case them to flip over. Or make a h2 map with h2 animations in third-person. I've only see about 3 new animations on any ce map... is it hard to make anims? I just heard of some kind of bibep bones tag thing that helps making aninimations. And if you can make first-person animations, and vehicle animations, why not biped animations. Make it when smone gets shot in the arm, they grabber their arm, kneel down, shaking tehn fall to the ground. More dramatic deaths plz!!! If this is hard i wanna know why so i don't waste a whole bunch of days doing this. Other wise... has no one thpught of this idea? Just a thought, i like anims. OR, OOO!!! can u CREATE phisics? Can u make it so your body just kinds flys in the sky with the ragdoll phsics in h2 or like UT2004? and i've heard of hijacking, but it has like barly almost never been discussed... so uhh... ideas or if someone wants to tell me why thiss is so hard... yeah.

From what I know, yes. Basic animating is easy. Any idiot can tween a couple keyframes, but it takes a pro to make it lifelike. Even then, the only real way to get great animations is by motion-catpure. And I've read aritcles showing rates that many motion-cap studios charge. Ragdoll physics have to be hard-coded into the engine. And Halo 1 was not built with ragdoll physics. Remember, this is the Halo Engine v1 we're talking about here. Again, Halo CE is NOT Halo 2. For a solo-player map, boarding can theoretically be done. A lot of people don't do "hard" stufff because about 75% of the "hard" stuff is impossible. And when people do hard stuff and say that it was hard, yet it looks simple, they get crapped on because it's got flaws. Take the H2CE biped for example. There are so many streched body parts, the back is a freaking SQUARE, and a couple death animations look like he dies in mid-cartwheel. I hate that biped. Halomods.com really went to hell.. Dude stfu.. Yes animations are hard to make.. Its even harder to make biped animations.. To make new death animations u wud have to do a tedious process of extracting the mc animations some how or completely remaking the master cheifs animations.. all 200+ animations that the master cheif has.. just to change one simple one.. no one is gonna want to do that.. espeacially just because YOU want them to..
