I was doing the beginner tutorial an i was on step 07, i use tool and did bitmap source-directory, and it said,

> tool.exe bitmaps levels\splinter\bitmaps

, so i went into guerilla as instucted and when i tried to open the file in guerilla it said "you need to set your working directory." what does that mean and how do i fix it?

Open up Guerilla and navigate to
..\Halo Custom Edition\tags\levels\test\tutorial\bitmaps
and open
"Splinter_ground.bitmap"
on the 2nd drop-down box where it says "format" on the left, change it to "compressed with explicit alpha"
close it, save it and then do your tool thing again

it still says "you need to set your working directory."
i can't get to the format drop down becuase i cant open the file of the directory thing.
another thing i notice is that every time i use the tool.exe and error ocuurs up and says "Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map' "
