problem in sapien

problem in sapien

ok now when i open up tutorial.scenario in sapien it all loads ok im able to hear the sounds and view the tags and stuff ect ect... but i cant see the map.. its just a blank white screen :? i have a nvidia geforce 6800 gt and im able to run halo in full graphics with perfect framerates so i really dont think its a problem with my graphics card.. unless anybody knows any pecific setting that needs to be enabled onit to run sapien correctly...

any help is appriciated.... :wink:

have you tried to move the camera?or is the game windows completely blank?If so sometimes it takes time to load

the window is completly blank... i can just hear the map sounds...

open the window in full screen mode and then let the window be active otherwise its always blank.Just click into the window and wait

One of my friends had your exact some problem. He updated his video drivers and it fixed the problem. That doesnt always work though so, yah...

yea... my video drivers all up to date... any other reason this could be happening? anyone? :(

well even though your graphic card is good sometimes its not that good compatible.But maybe you should show us a pic

i was ready to throw my computer out before, then i relized i was in the output window instead of the game window.Im sure your not as stupid as me, but make sure your in the right window. Also make suere you added your ski correctly.

You're not in your games view! Go to View, and click the game thing.

lol jesus that was the problem.. i wasnt in the game window... it seemed that my settings in sapien were saved for that current window to be maximized so i couldent see any of the other views even if i did untick them and stuff so i had to find those little arrow things to resize the window and to find the real game view window.....

Wow, its a good thing that I looked for a topic already answering my question... I was about to start my own =o

And that was the exact same problem with mine... the Output window was up front and the Game window was at the back with nothing visible but the status bar...
