Q: What is a open edge?

A: A open edge is a multiple (usualy) edges that have no face between them, forming a hole in the map.

I have never used the rest.
Q: Why does tool say to many regions when i import a model?

A: I dont really know. I think it has somthing to do with having to many model parts, like warthog01, warthog02, etc.
