About these tags...

well i know how to edit tags and everything, but how do i get them to work when i am in a game. btw, im a newb at this sorta thing.

depends on what kinda tag ur talking about..
but if its a weapon, vehicle, or scenery, then the hek tutorial tells u how to do it.

that was pretty much about the placement of objects. all i wanna know how to do is edit the existing weapons so they work in any multiplayer game or map.

oh. well u need to create the weapon, put it into your own map, then give the map to people so u can play w/ it. you cant import ur own weapon into an already existing map. it wont let u join the server if ur map is somehow different anyways

well is there any way that i could basicaly copy and already existing map like blood gulch, rename it and change weapons that way?

sure. it just takes forever and a half.
open up sparkedit, back from editing halo pc, then go to file>export as .obj or something. use OBJ to MAX plugin to get the obj file into 3ds max. (google for obj to max). then work on flipping every single face around, then texture it and add uvw maps. scale it to be the right size, then export to sapien and run radiosity. then add all the spawn points, scsnerys, weapons, and vehicles it should have.
after doing about 5 times, ive got the process down to about a week
so ur better off making ur own simple map

you could just go look at kirks tutorials, and many others at the Files Forum....
