Well, this is my first post for me, so try not to cook me extra crispy if you will. I recently downloaded Halo Map Tools (HMT) and made sure I had that network thing so that HMT would work. I tried starting out with something simple, and decided to make the MA5B more accurate. I started out by backing up all the maps, and directed HMT to the "MAPS" folder in my Halo folder. I went to the weapons tab, and changed the rifle's accuracy values so it would be more like an MA5C, but faster shooting, and with that same 60 round clip. I pressed save, closed the thing by clicking the close button at the lower left, and played halo. NOTHING different. I've also tried this other program (Halo Map Switcher) which could tell me if a map was modded or not, and it says it's not modded, with which, I agree even though I typed in and saved those new accuracy values. Hell, they're still there (the new numbers) every time I bring HMT up, but why won't it work?
Can any of you lend me a bit of help? I'd really appreciate it.
EDIT: I'm using Vista. I should'a mentioned that earlier....

Are you testing it in LAN or online?
Re: Help! Halo Map Tools!
Right now, I'm just trying to mod the campaign levels before I take on the online stuff.

Re: Help! Halo Map Tools!
There is a save button in the Halo Map Tools, and I do press it, but nothing changes in-game. Is there another thing I should save or something?
I should have also mentioned that I use windows vista; does that cause any problems with Halo Map Tools 3.5? Or are you guys still at a loss to what's happening to me?
Try not to double post.
