Is there any possible way to keep spartans corpse there for longer...

Like making the bullet shells stay there... is there a tag for his corpse?

well i figure only by logic your ram is going to have to recall everywhere a shell casing is or a biped dead. thats going to add up super fast. theres a reason they disappear.

also.. all thoe bullet holes? lol..

I think the reason he said that was because redux takes more resources and lags more, and that if he didn't use redux, he would have gotten it faster...

With a 512 MB graphics card, 1.5 GB RAM+, and a decent CPU, it's not going to add up "fast." Just look at campaign. At points, there's a bunch of stuff the computer keeps track of, and old computers handle it fine. Take the Library. You've got Flood, with bits flying off of them, particles from your weapons, particles from OTHER weapons, Sentinels with bits flying off when they explode, and a bunch of infection forms.

But no, I don't know how you'd do this. :P

Pepsi told me to tell you this, shadow.

A normal CTF game is 20 minutes. With a max of 8 players, there should easily be 150 deaths. Considering most maps are played on BG, imagine 150 bipeds in a map. Now add people moving, people driving, all bullet casings, all particles from grenades, and especially the casings from the chain hog gun.

Do you see where i'm going with this now. If you don't understand, mod a pistol to shoot a biped. Fire 20 MCs in front of you. Compare the frames before the MCs and when you're looking at all 20. As I said, and you know i'm right, it is going to add up fast.

As in, this is what happens when you play redux. My computer almost freezes.

Duh, your alway's working on something

As for this, it wouldn't hurt to try this, and if it worked, but overloaded ram etc, I'd probably warn people downloading the mod if I were you :P

Well, I'm not going to make a mod with it, just want some knowledge to see if its possible. Curious, I guess...

It will add up if you're including bullet casings, I'll give you that. Purely looking at corpses though, I doubt there'd be a problem with a decent gaming computer nowadays. In Battlefield 2142, there's points in time where there are a lot of objects moving, corpses on the ground, particles, and every model is detailed better and with much higher resolution textures than Halo 1, a 6 year old game.
