Grenade Pile

I've been trying to get dead grenades into multiplayer so I can make a nade pile and be able to blow them up with nades or rocket. I switched out the meta of the frag grenade from the eqip tag into the Pistol Bullet in the proj tag but those don't blow up and they have the Destroyed By Explosions flag.

Any help appreciated.

you can only do that in solo player.

I know but I have seen a video of someone doing it in Blood Gulch. Also this was asked a while back and that person got it to work but when I used the method others suggested, it hasn't worked for me.

Maybe try to PMI the grenades from Campaign?

I think there's a flag under the equipment tag that says: 'Destroyed by explosions.'
Check that and see.

The pmi didn't work, it gave the same effect, the nades would come but wouldn't blow up. And the flag for destroyed by explosions is on. =/

Compare their collision model in HMT-- [coll]Collision to the ones in SP. Do the same with HHT. In HHT there should be a tag that is the grenade detonation.

Did you try flipping the "destroyed by explosions" flag the other way? Sometimes, just because it's checked doesn't mean it's on.

I am gona tell you all a secret right now, the sp and mp nades are exactly the same.
So what cuases the detionation stuff? the map set as solo.
the chain explosion nade is one of the things that only works in SP (without editing current tags), detail object collection (pc version), and some scripting commands also dont work in MP (there are more probaly).

From what i remember that was made on a SP scenario of bloodgulch (could be wrong, just read it somewhere).
