HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I simply cant figure this out and NOBODY IS HELPING ME. Can someone please point me in the direction of some answers unless it involves phenomena cause he wont answer my pm's. I need this for my new mod, I've been trying for about a full week now and it just won't work.


Oh and this is kind of off topic, but my hex workshop wont save files anymore. It saves the changes but then i see nothing different with the map, so i reopen it in hex workshop and its the same as it was before i saved it. :/ does someone know whats wrong? I'm on vista ultimate if it helps.

Think about it, nobody can answer you, and there haven't been ANY mods with a different color hud, coincidence?


I saw it done in CE (hugeass) once, only.


Talk to whoever made hugeass and ask if you can convert the tags to pc, then teh nubzors will steal your hud from your mod, kay?

There's one for pc called warfare it was orange

The hud colors for weapons and such forth are in the weapon_hud_interface in a nestled reflexive (reflexive in a reflexive(i think thats what it is called)). HMT doesnt support nestled reflexives so you cant make a plugin to edit the color, at this point you got 3 options.

1. make new proggie that supports nestled reflexives
2. hex edit (not to hard)
3. just make tags in CE and convert

how would we hex it?

yeah in order to hex edit i'd have to know what to hex edit

sounds like a lot of work for nothing, might as well focus your power on editing/making textures or enhancing other effects in the game. Right now I don't know how to do it but it really doesn't bother me.

Didn't Krush also get a purple HUD stuff. I will start searching for it.

wow thanks guys. And alfaalex, i have already skinned the whole entire everything for halo specifically for my map. I hate having this nasty blue in the map thats not supposed to be anything like the color of blue. partly why im trying to find out how to change the color of the hud.
