				Lighting issues

okay, whenever I get rid of lightmaps, for a nighttime mod, it works for me, but when i send the mod to any other computer, the rest of the mods work fine, but the lighting is back. If I go into HHT, (i sent it to a different comp in my house), all the dependencies still look nulled out, therefore I can't fix it. Do i need to send them the map with normal lighting and include a tutorial, or is there a way to send it properly.
Thanks in advance.

				sending what in ppf form?
the map was rebuilt. but ppf versus map file shouldn't make a difference, and the dependencies were nulled out on the other end, it just didn't show up in game

Funny thing is, that the same thing happened to me. I have no idea why though. My map wasn't rebuilt either.

				did you read his problem...
with CE you can make new lightmaps so you dont have to null out the lightmaps...thats why i think it would work.

Once again, I don't have HEK, and every time I try to get it, it downloads fine, then installs, and when it finishes installing it has the option to launch. I click that, the installation closes, and nothing happens. No icons or anything. Is there a special way to launch or any sort of specific problem? I really wish I had HEK. Plus would a conversion really be worth it just to make it night?

I've noticed you seem to be enjoying your CE experience, but would you mind stopping preaching about it in the PC section?

Did I mention that you can edit lightmaps with PC? You don't need CE to do it.

Its true...
Guerilla > HMT
Sapien > Sparkedit
Tool > PPF Studio
Btw how do you edit lightmaps without ce->pc
