AI wars help

i am haveing trouble getting the cov into bloodgulch (i am just useing bloodgulch as a trail so i know what to do so i can make these typs of mods on other maps) but i can't get them into the map it always comes up with an error or something like that can any one help me?

The best idea would be to say all the steps you do, so we can then check wether you've done it right or not.

well i took the grunt's elites hunters and the marines meta's out of assult on the control room and than i did the steps on the "how to put a wraith into bloodgulch" (here is the address
http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=18874) and when i go to rebuild the map it says "could not find bloodgulch.sbsp.meta or that it will say that C\buildtree.txt is being used by another program

Well first you gotta make sure you have no other instances of HMT open, and after you build the new BSP chunk with the model decrapper, you have to go to your BSP folder, copy the bloodgulch.sbsp.meta and then go to your build folder and to levels\test\bloodgulch and paste the sbsp.meta over the old one. If it doesn't say would you like to overwrite the old one you copied the wrong file. Make sure it's not a .sbsp file, but a .sbsp.META file.

if you are running vista, right before your are going to rebuild, close HMT, and right click the icon, and click run as administrator. now rebuild the map normally.

i had no other thing of hmt open and it did override a file and it was meta

well i got good news and bad news
good news is i got a hunter into bloodgulch (useing
http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=53597) bad news is i don't see it in HMT, HHT, Sparkedit or bloodgulch map

i have succesfully added a hunter to bloodgulch that moves shoots and kills me (alot

) but i don't know how to get them to respawn once they die any idea's?

check out the second half of andrew b's tutorial, or if you like chaos, do what i did in my hellish prisoner mod. you can figure it out i believe in you!

One way to get them to respwan is this:
Go to hht find a vehicle - best is warthog as it has 3 seats
Then click on the atcv tag (should be three of them) and swap with your hunters.
Then go into sparkedit and flip the vehicles over.

oh yeah forgot about that
one way i tired once was swapping the ai for one of the things under item collection tag but that didn't work - just got exception error. However, if some people could get that to work, then that could be your answer.

i kinda got that to work they just were there they didn't move fight or anything and you couldn't hit them it was like the grapics where there but they wern't kinda thing and also i can't figue out how to put more than just one ai in at a time it comes up with this exception stuff

maybe try filling a hog or tank with actvs and pasting it over something in equipment? (healthpack? O-shield?) maybe that'll be better than weps.

like paste the code in hmt? i though you swaped the stuff to the tank or something like that in hht i havn't though to try that
