how do i make it night time?, besides swapping the sky bitmap

ive figured out, if you have like paint shop pro or photoshop you can take main textures, aka ground, grass, cliffs, and building crap and darken them up a bit, reinject them, and it looks as good as any dark map, minus the sky thingy, I'm still working on it....

and you cant just pmi a sky and expect it to be dark, yea sure the sky will be hard, but everything on the ground will still be las if it were light out.

no for security reasons...Vista wont allow any account to be an administrator...this means no programs can access the C:\ folder...this sounds stupid but there are viruses that go directly to the C:\ folder and wipe out the whole system files...this actually helps...and so only you can run the program in administrator.... basicly this saves you a couple thousand if your doing something retarded and get a virusducktape wrote:or you could make it so your username has admin acess on the computer.

lightmaps....lightmaps lightmaps lightmaps.......go in hmt and open up the bitmaps, go down to level\test\blooduglch\bloodgulch. Save all of the bitmaps in that. Open them all up in photoshop and mess around with the hue/saturation for color or go to image adustments then brightness contrast and mess with those. It would probably help to make them all the same so you dont end up with weird stuff. Save then reinject into HMT. have fun
