I was gonna try to make (and host) template files... IE, all (or as many as I could make) of teh possible sp>mp conversions, but I realized that this was plain stupid...

*applauds*
With the advent of HMT3.5, SP conversions are becoming far too easy to be fun any more. Unfortunately, we should expect to see a deluge of poorly-executed SP conversions with the release of 3.5, much as we saw a deluge of projectile swapping when HMT first came out.
The fortunate side-effect of this is that the experienced modders will now turn their attention to bigger fish, such as importing models into Halo that have more vertices, points, etc. than the original, or cracking some of the harder files. As soon as that happens, I guarantee that someone will make a program(s) to make the process easier, and the cycle starts all over again. We'll see a number of mods that include poorly done models, or with goofy lighting that just plain ruins the level.
My thoughts on HMT3.5? I'm glad it was released, not because it makes certain things easier, but because it allows us to concentrate in other areas of the game. And when that mystery program gets released later on? Hooray for that one, too.
That's all I wanted to say.

Ramsey, you can't convert that bsp. (At least not if you want to be outside, I'm not sure if the inside part works.) The reason for this is unknown, and neither MonoxideC, nor ViperNeo (a great modder who you probably haven't heard of if you don't frequent the irc channels) knows what the problem is.

It will work in sparkedit perfectly, just not in-game. If you show me in-game pics of you walking around outside in a30_a or b, in multiplayer, I will praise you as a god.
