What the hell do ya make of this?

Hey guys what the hell do ya make of this? I was looking through models and this is the engineer. It looks like some demented flood kind of thing. Does anyone know what this biped is used for?
Even when i put it in the game it just floats there. it doesn't have any ai. However its body bulges up and down.

Its an enginer. And the bulging is it breathing. Just another unfinished thing in Halo.

lol gearbox did a strait port of bungies xbox vertion. (Well becides the new adition it MP) And all those guns/bipeds are from beta idea's that never made it.

if you put the engineers in a level and shot them they actually get holes in them and blood drains out!

Heck, if the book wouldn't have continued on from Halo, then you would have never known that it was a book based on a video game...

the reason that it has no AI is because it does not fight, the onloy things it is used for in the story are repair...they don't fight...

maybe in Halo2, they will include destructible vehicles in mp and if you turn that on, it also puts in engineers....or not...
