map rebuilding question

What Program is used to basicly crecreate and/ or alter existing maps? I attempted sparkedit, however it does not load properaly. Instead of posting towards my spark edit issues, I'd rather get a responce concerning a completesly different program, thanks.

Ever tried HMT? It's really cool. How could you have skipped HMT in your search for a modding program?

yes I have HMTv3, but all I can really do with it is like speed things up, and alter the damage of certain stuff like impact with a veichle and bullets. Oh yes, I reciently managed to create skins, however, I still am clueless on map creating or rebuilding on HMT.
